Awd Tuts 17th Century Cottage is right in the very heart of 'olde' Whitby Town.  Awd Tuts  has one en-suite bedroom  with a  large  Victorian  antique  bed.  A second bedroom , on the same floor  as the jacuzzi bathroom ,  has  one double bed and one single bed for your convenience.  Awd Tuts is in  one of the most sought after  locations  in Whitby.  At night when the tides are right, you can hear the waves lapping at the stairs  at the bottom  of the alley leading to the harbour which is 20 metres away.

This memorial statue of Captain James Cook proudly looks out over Whitby harbour.

Cook's sailing ships 'Endeavour', 'Resolution', 'Adventure' and 'Discovery' were built in Whitby,

from where he sailed on his great voyages of exploration.
