'Awd Tuts' is a four-storey, ex-fisherman's cottage with low ceilings and wooden beams.
It is a well refurbished 17th century cottage which holds a 4 star English Tourism Council rating.
We offer a wide range of facilities to enhance your stay.
The cottage, which dates back to the year 1640 sleeps 4 / 5 people comfortably.
The cottage is ideally situated, being located in the direct centre of the old quarter
of Whitby town with its cobbled streets, ancient history and picturesque harbour.
The old quarter of Whitby is on the east side of the River Esk and contains many
points of local interest including the Abbey, the 199 steps, the Jet Works, the old
Kipper-Smoking Sheds, the Market Square, numerous quaint shops, restaurants and tea rooms.

There is no direct parking but access for drop off and pick up etc is allowed in the old cobbled streets.
The nearest Car Park is 180 metres away and some free parking is allowed on 'Church Street' nearby.
The Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults + infant.
