Riverside Cottage (we still have School Holiday vacancies from 28th August)

Built in 2004, Riverside Cottage offers scenic views in a tranquil location overlooking the meandering River Esk. Eat breakfast watching the sun rise or enjoy an evening drinking wine whilst sitting on your own private balcony enjoying the beautiful countryside as the river gently flows by. You can see ducks, geese and other wild birds and occasionally even seals swimming around within sight of the cottage. Don't forget to bring bread with you as the numerous ducks all expect to be fed each day by hand. A local goose is 'house-trained' to tap on the patio windows when he is ready for his breakfast!

The cottage dining room shares the same beautiful view of the river from ground floor level. The cottage sleeps up to 6 persons having 2 double-bedrooms and a third bedroom with modern style bunk-beds. A spacious lounge offers comfortable seating around the TV or looking out at the river beneath the arches of the viaduct. There are ample bathroom facilities including a ground floor cloakroom, first floor bath and shower room and third floor bathroom. This is an ideal holiday property for families or for groups of friends as there is plenty of room for everyone to gather together or to find a quiet spot to relax. Cot, high-chair and safety gates are provided free of charge for those with a baby or small child.
